I I Stanley is a member of the Stanley Electric group of companies dedicated to producing high quality advanced lighting and electronic products for the world. We are a TS16949 registered and ISO 14001 certified supplier of automotive headlamps and tail lamps, automotive heating and air conditioning controls and modular electronic assemblies for automotive applications. Takaharu Kitano, an industrious leader with ambition, foresight and inspiration founded Stanley Electric Company, Ltd in Japan in 1920. His goal was to develop a highly specialized manufacturing operation that would one day earn global respect, trust and value. The company's name was inspired by Sir Henry Morton Stanley, a missionary and 19th century explorer, famous for liberating the Congo and spreading the light of knowledge throughout the African continent. Like its namesake, Stanley Electric has shown distinct insight, strength and determination. It is by design that the mission of Stanley Electric is to "Light the World." I I Stanley was established in Battle Creek in 1985 and began assembling automotive lamps in May, 1987. In September 1989, we dedicated our current facility that includes approximately 500,000 square feet of air conditioned manufacturing and office space, supported by a cafeteria that operates on all shifts. Today, I I Stanley associates are proud to serve both domestic and foreign manufacturers with high quality products and services.
